RE: Store bought ground blind users??????
Cooler,
I don't think that they spook as easily as we might think based on a stationary visual cue.
Deer in my area are used to a changing "Visual" environment.
One day the hay field is deep and dense, the next, there are all of these huge hay cylinders laying all over. The deer still come through the hayfield like clockwork. They really like a freshly cut hayfield. New tender greens start to sprout. Great for evening grazing.
This season I am going to modify my blind so that it will look like any of the other haybales on the property. I am lucky though in that I am able to leave the blind up without fear of someone taking it. My 7yr old daughter looks forward to her first hunt with dad this eyar also.
Good luck.
