If I were you and had a printer, I would print myself out a copy of the manual and then read it over two even three times until you are very familiar with all the aspect of your rifle...

This will help you get the most out of your rifle and also operate it in a safe effective manner. After you get started shooting then you can start trying different loads and projectiles. In the manual is some good information on that respect also.
