Congratulations on a fantastic hunt and thanks for sharing it with us! A 25 yard shot the first day of trad hunting is unbelievable!!

You are hooked for sure now! You wouldn't have gotten him with a compound. Your arms would have been tired from carrying that heavy thing around! Your aim would have been off and you would have missed it. Better to take a shot with your longbow, hit an overhanging limb you don't see and miss. The experience was 99% complete!! Was it not?
