Thats a fair price. If I were in the market for one, I would be all over it. I have shot several, at least a couple dozen, of the Savage tactical .308's over the past 6 years or so, and every single one of them were a 1MOA or better with 168gr Federal Gold Match ammo. Some of the were .5MOA shooters.
