Personally I have never used the thermocell, but I have had hunters in camp that swear by them. To me, it is well worth the money spent to keep the skeeters off. I have had other hunters who used an open face mask that came back with bites around the open area...LOL Also the thermocell is odorless. So get yourself a thermocell and extra pads and cartriges, just to be sure your covered. Use your standard camo headnet.
BTW- I will have one just as soon as the BassPro opens down the road from me in Columbia, Mo. Just so I have one when I do get the chance to go hunting. Most of my time seems to be spent guiding others, but this year (I hope) will be differant___LOL
