I don't know where the "I can't get a big buck so I can't stand to see these pompous a-holes pass on what would be a trophy for me" attitude comes from. I guess it's similar to class-envy.

I've taken some nice deer and a very common assumption is that I have some pent-up honey hole where the deer do nothing but suck clover honey and wait for me to come kill them. Truth is four of my six mounts already had holes in them from other hunters or poachers.

I sure don't want to watch a video showing some guys sitting in a stand for hours waiting for a deer to show up. I want to see that big rack bobbing through the bush and get a good long look at him after he's down.

I think a lot of the hard luck, "never see nothing" hunters out there would be shocked at the size of some of the bucks living in their area. They're in there. You just have to be good enough to find then see them.

Bottom line, knock it if you want to, but it just sounds like whining to me.
