Hi guys this is my first post of this site, but I'm the one that my buddy is talking about. I have got two Savage's both are 340's one is a C which is 30-30, and the other is B which is 222. I paid $185 for the 30-30, with a scope and a hard case, and the 222 was $85, but it has a bad stock. The stock is held together with wire, but it shoots, which is good. I would like to get a new stock for it, but it is hard to find things on them becuase Savage will not supply information on guns before 1991. I have found some thing on them, but I would like to know more about them then, like break down manuals, or where to go to find more things on them, things like that.
