Adams, I found this website that deals with using hunters as a management tool to control the population. If you click the deer management report link in the middle of the article it opens a 26 page report with alot of statistics on the individual park. They include stats such as forrest damage, plant damage, vehicle accidents etc... It also covers various ways to reduce herd size from non-lethal to lethal as well as stats for those.
