The best advise I can give is not to crank up the poundage too fast. Start with a comfortable weight and concentrate on good form, gradually adding more weight until you're at your desired draw weight. It only takes a couple of pounds every week or two and you'll condition the mussles in you back and be shooting 50 lbs in no time.
It's nice to see young ladies getting involved in the sport. I think you should strong arm a couple of you friends and get them involved as well, It's good for our sport and good for the soul.
