I like 357mag best I am revolver happy and only buy firearms I can hunt with in PA.
How old are you washington hunter?, In PA you have to get a carry permit to hunt with a revolver I guess your state is more leanant.

I am in the process of trading my taraus 357mag 627 seveon shot and s/w 38spec. 642 for a dan wesson pistol pack in 357mag to cover both hunting and ccw. Like your 44mag pick. I have yet to shoot my Ruger Super Redhawk 44mag 9.5" stainless.
