Washington always seemed like a good place to hunt to me. Wide variety of animals and usually a lot of open private land (Weyerhaeuser). I have a question though...Why pay money to hunt on private land/lease/tree farm when you could just ask the land owner to hunt there and use it for free? Then maybe just send the landowners some salmon or homemade meat products. Something they don't get every day. Works good for me. The landowners I know love the pepperoni our family makes.
