RE: turkey sights
i use adjustable fiber-optic sights which came on my 835. my dad got stick-on truglo sights for his 11-87 for about $20 and they are good and bright, but the bad thing is they arent adjustable. I have never used a scope for turkey hunting. I dont think you need one because the bird should not be more than 50 or 60 yards away max. for turkeys you should be fine even with iron non-fiber-optic sights because there is usually plenty of light by the time you start seeing the birds. if you use the same gun for deer hunting in the fall, a scope would probably be a good investment, but strictly for turkey hunting i wouldnt spend the money for one. but its up to you...
