The Vangaurds are a-lot of gun for the money...I just picked up a 270 Winchester.. blued...and it is a 1/2" shooter @100 yards...with 3 different types of factory fodder for it...a very good friend of mine down in Oklahoma...liked his 2 month old Vangaurd in 30-06 so much...he went out and bought another in 270 Win...if you want a-little interesting reading...have a look at this article...
