Default RE: Montana Drop Camp

Again Beware here. Here is a definition by the state for an outfitter. You can be fined if they are operating Illegally, whether you know it or not. Do your research on this one!
11) "Outfitter" means any person, except a person providing services on real property that the person owns for the primary pursuit of bona fide agricultural interests, who for consideration provides any saddle or pack animal; facilities; camping equipment; vehicle, watercraft, or other conveyance; or personal service for any person to hunt, trap, capture, take, kill, or pursue any game, including fish, and who accompanies that person, either part or all of the way, on an expedition for any of these purposes or supervises a licensed guide or professional guide in accompanying that person.[/color]
(5) "Consideration" means something of value given or done in exchange for something of value given or done by another

37-47-313. Shuttle and rental services -- exemption . (1) Nothing in this chapter prohibits the furnishing of shuttle or rental services as long as those services do not include in-field assistance to a customer.
(2) In-field assistance includes but is not limited to:
(a) setting up a camp;
(b) field instruction for the activity to be conducted by the customer; or
(c) other services considered to be services of an outfitter, as defined in 37-47-101.
