Default RE: adjusting Remington 710 trigger to 1.5#

The price you pay for a POS 710 doesn't cover the cost of the trigger group of an Etronix equipped rifle. The Etronix rifle has an MSRP of over $1000, and I've never even seen one on a dealers shelf so I don't have a clue what they actually retail for, but it's gonna be a LOT more than a 710.

You can't polish a turd.
Yep, that sums it up nicely. Sorry, but sometimes the truth hurts, and the fact of the matter is that you bought a POS rifle, actually spent money to trick it out, and now expect it to do what it was never designed to do. The 710 is not a long range target rifle, and never will be. You can't fault us for pointing out the fact that your rifle won't do what you want it to. Please don't project your buyers remorse onto us. I wish you had come on here and asked before you bought the gun so you'd have known better.

The trigger is non-adjustable, and you probably won't find a gunsmith who will work on it either. Not to mention that that rifle isn't worth a $50-75 trigger job anyway. You bought what, in the gun world, is the equivalent of a disposable razor. It doesn't cost much, gets the job done, and when its outlived its usefulness, you throw it away and get another one. It's designed to be an economy, no frills hunting gun that is better than nothing. This will be a lesson to you to do a little more research before you buy your next special purpose rifle.
