I usually practice at 30 to 50 yards. It is better to practice at varying ranges(especially when using a peep sight) because your anchor point will change slightly when going from changing from 20 to 40 yards. Now that I have switched to the No-Peep I do most of my shooting from 50 to 60 yards. I like shooting from 50 to 60 yards with broadheads as this will really show any flaw in your form or release resulting in poor broadhead flight.
