Me and my turkey hunting friends have found that first of all, seeing a tom is hard enough, but once they sound off...go after him with a strategy.

If they are not responding to locator calls, try agressive cutting/ yelping, that seems to work when nothing else does.

Turkey hunting looks easy on videos, but no so much in true life. My friend has been turkey hunting for 18 years and didnt get his first until the fifth season. Of course, we hunt public land in souther Ohio and it is much tougher but more rewarding cause you have to work to get one.

Learn how to use many calls---friction, box, mouth, etc. Listen to recordings and practice, practice, practice.
