RE: Grizzly hunting
I hope you're careful and maybe even have someone to back you up.
Personally, I'm quite content never to see a Grizzly bear up close in person. I never have. But I've talked to a few people who have. The last Elk hunter I talked to who had one within 50 yards of him still didn't have his color back in his face the next day. He was pretty subdued and didn't talk too much of what it was like without being asked. I think it shook him up pretty good.
I've heard that in areas where they're more used to people, some will hear the reports from a rifle of a hunter shooting a deer or Elk and come running, like it's the dinner bell. Something that big that can pickup an Elk and run off with it, you have to respect and take care when you're in their territory.
