After all the bashing of he 710 just wanted to add my .02 cents.First of all I don't own one and wouldn't unless it was all I could afford,yes they are cheap,that was susposed to be.I have talked to several that do have them and they love them,if one had it in a 30/06 he was wanting one in a 270 and vice ver.If that is what the guy wants and likes there is nothing wrong with that,and more power to him or her.If the gun companys didn't make something that sells we would all be left out because there would be no gun companys,and if the 710 sells for Rem.to keep it afloat then good I can have my 700 and etc.
I can think back many,many years ago, I would have loved to have a 710 or any kind of rifle,that was when guns were dirt cheap compared to the low priced guns of today but money was very hard to come by.I have 2 that I have kept through the years,one cost $29,and one cost $39.
So if you have one and like it,injoy.And like me don't care for them don't buy one and injoy what you have.
