dothework, My we are touchy aren't we?I'm glad you are happy with your Remington 710.I know not everybody can afford Sako's Brownings and other of the higher priced rifles.Then to get a good and decent rifle you don't have to.There are other models on the lower end with better quality then the Rem 710. Savage for one makes a much better rifle for about the same price. For not to much more money a Remington 700 ADL could be bought and it's a much better made rifle.The price doesn't make it better,but the quality does.IMHO the Remington 710 lacks the quality.For a person who only shoots a few rounds a year the 710 is fine. No I'm not a Sako Drooling snob,but I know quality when I see it.I've looked several times at the 710 and still haven't found any.I guess I let my closed minded un-educated opinions slip my head.Sorry if I've offended you.
