Let me just tell you that joining PETA would be just about the worst thing you could do for your hunting rights. Any money you pay them will IMMEDIATELY go to curtailing hunting (especially bowhunting, which they now have a campaign to end). They are also currently aggresively trying to ban black bear hunting, duck hunting, and pheasant ranches.

If you’re looking for a club to join, join the NRA, Ducks Unlimited (yes they lobby for deer hunting too), Whitetail Federation, etc. If you give PETA one shred of support and you are a hunter, you, my friend, area a damned fool. Animals aren’t skinned alive every day for ANY reason. They just find the worst, most shocking and gruesome videos they can and say “see, see, this is what happens at mink farms, etc.”

In truth, most americans view peta as a complete joke (this includes politicians) and to tell the truth, with every publicity stunt they pull they hurt themselves even more.
