I am also from Oklahoma and I couldn't agree w/ you more, the most priced buck I have ever taken is the first little 7 pt. I will never forget it but I just don't get a thrill out of taking a 1 1/2 old buck anymore. They ar the dumbest deer in the woods. I also agree that some people don't have the kind of place to hunt where you can pass on deer when you may not see 5-6 deer all year. I spend tons of time making sure that isn't me though I am constantly looking for place to hunt and have had good luck. You get out of it what you put into it I have permision to hunt 4-5 places local as well as some public land that is bow only and I also have a lease to hunt on the weekends that is about an hour away. We are practicing QDM on the lease as well.
