Oh Ya, it does matter. Depending on what type of string material you are using, and the number of strands your string is made of, will dictate what serving diameter you should use. You don`t ever want it so loose that it can slide around on your string. Conversely, you don`t want to have to use two hands to pop it off of your string, either!
