Sounds like you guys had some fun! To answer your question, I average about 20 or so a year with a high of around 40. My best day ever I found three matched sets. I have found 8 in a day before, and commonly I find 2-4. One time I found one, walked 100 yards or so and stumbled on 5 others around the same exact tree! I couldn't believe it. Six horns in ten minutes. This year is horrible though. I have only found 3 deer horns so far and one dead moose. The moose was a big NT that made boone and crocket though.
