RE: Peep sight?
Check out the williams sights before you go with the XS ghost ring. With the williams you can remove the aperture and have essentially a ghost ring setup if you want a quick close range sight or leave the aperture in and have a better long distance setup. You also have much finer front sights for the distance shooting. The XS sights are great for close range, under 50 yds for me but I find them a little rough at a distance as the front sight is very large. You can overcome it with practice but for those like me who find time at the range hard to come by, its a definite handicap. Hope it helps. Also, I hear the newer xs sights may be threaded and accept a williams aperture so that disadvantage may not exist anymore but their front sights still look awfully big downrange at a 100 yds and they still are awful pricey compared to the williams sights which can use your existing front blade if you wish and seem a little more reasonably priced.
