ROFLMAO, soarkrebel I thought you would get a kick out of that!!!

Dont fret, us 'necks have our own and these two clowns are prime examples. There are dirty law enforcement officers EVERYWHERE. But by and large the vast majority or straight, honest, decent law abiding folks with families and lives to live just like us.
Men and women don't get into law enforcement for the riches, thats obvious. Many have a strong urge to truly "serve and protect". And simply because they carry a gun and wear a badge, they put their lives on the line each and everyday for their meager pay. So cut 'em some slack.
Obviously these two jerkwaters are not of the norm. I don't think they were fired for being dangerous or a liability too the department they served. They had to be fired for their obvious lack of gray matter between their ears! I don't anymore think those two clowns represent the vast majority of law enforcement anymore than I think Ted Kennedy represents the majority of politicians!!! As is the case with human nature, there ALWAYS will be bad examples. Here, there and everywhere.
I have friends and family that are in law enforcement and much more of them are "good people" than not. To say that ALL cops who respond to B&E loot the joint is just plain ignorant and ludicrous. Neither do most carry around "throw downs", thats the most absurd thing I have ever heard of. Cops get hostile in hostile environments, not just because they are on the job. SURE they are edgy when dealing with inner-city thugs and while patroling the projects, while their seniors get the easy detail in the calm suburbs. Thats life and the statistics will SOLIDLY support what I just stated. It's just common sense for cops to be confrontational when pulling ove a group of 17 year old gang members in a hooptie than when they pull me over for speeding through the neighborhood. In my case they are simply doing their job, in the other case they could possibly be about to die simply because, "they were doing their job"!!!
I'll tell you another thing, I for one don't mind cops giving known criminals a hard time, whackin em on the head with a stick, or planting a little evidence that might make conviction a little bit easier and their sentences a little longer this time! I for one have ALWAYS thought (and damn well know for that matter) that honest, free going citizens have NOTHING to fear from law enforcement. If they (cops) are hard on your or harassing you then you probably deserve it. They don't just walk up too every poke they pull over for speeding and instantly turn it into a fleeing felon situation. If you are a decent citizen then you don't have squat to worry about, they are just doing their job. Likewise if they respond too your calls in the middle of the night, they know by radio and your neighborhood whether or not they should "get rough" with you. They simply know where the trouble is, and more importantly, who most of the troublemakers are.
Keep ya nose clean and you won't have anything but a friend in uniform!
