I am not against hunting over bait. The difference is that a food plot generally takes up much more space than a bait pile. The animals may be concentrated over a larger area verses a small bait area. Depends on how large of an area I guess. There is also the questions being brought up about whether baiting is helping the spread dease (sp?) in deer but that is a whole different topic. Do what you want and good luck as long as it is legal. I hunt over a food plot every year it just happens to be a 100 acre corn field.
