RE: New Hunter in Arizona
Welcome to AZ Eric.
Try these:
Go north on US93 just pass the turnoff to Bullhead City and on the right you will see the Cerbat Mtn range and at the base of it you will see a mine tailings pile from the 'little Chico' mine, the road travel past the pile on the right hand side and will take you around mt Stockton all he way back to the east side of kingman; good day ride usually see lots of deer.
and-
if you travel south on 93, turn west at Milemarker (MM) 121, (just about under the place where the power line crosses 93) this is the road to the ghost town of Cedar. You'll come to a "Y" in the road, just park there and explore away, deer and javelina, this should also be a good quail year.
and-
Probably the best turkey hunting near you is on the Hualapai reservation. Travel east on old US66 to Peach Springs, stop in the tribal office if you want to buy a tag, or continue up 66 to BIA rt 16 (the road to Supai), between MM110 and 111, travel up to Frazier Wells, lots of turkey and deer. And you can continue up the road to about MM48, you will be on the Big Boquillas Ranch, and there is a resident antelope head that isnt to nervous.
Hope this helps
Regards,
Rick
