Having owned just a few 300 wsm's and currently the owner of a Vanguard in that caliber not sure you want it that light but that is just me. As far as rifles go and that particular one I think it is the best bargain in the semi-custom business. Reciever is 17-4 stainless , teflon coated from the factory, beautiful cut-rifled barrel bedded in a super strong stock and solid SS bottom metal. I just don't know how you could do better.
