There are still a few to be had. They do get alot of pressure in that area though. The big boys will be pretty nocturnal until the first week of November., so you will either have to be lucky to step on one or know where they are at. Big spreads are cool but more often than not will cheat you out of the spread credit. If you are looking for a trophy, bucks in the 26 to 27 inch range will be more likely to put you there if they have good tine length. If you are coming all this way to hunt go ahead and get a tag. Non-residents can use the deer tag for cougar or bear if they run across one I beleive. Check first but I beleive that statement is correct.
