For the previous 2 posts, i don't mean to start a brand war but unless you shoot your deer in a dry pasture, leave your trucks near a road. I have an '03 Silverado and Z71 or not, there isnt enough ground clearance to make it very far. My dads buddy has a GMC 2500HD 4 door and it gets hung up and stuck very easily. My buddy has an F-150 Supercrew and hell he gets stuck in my driveway. Anyone who doesnt want to beat their trucks up arent going to just go parading through the woods with a pickup. However, if it were absolutely necessary, I'd pick the newer Dodge Rams mainly from experience with them. They sit higher than both Chevy and Ford so u don't get hung up as easy. Great 4wd system too.
