3/4 of a inch at 100 yards sounds great! ... why not use those? Any good quality bullet would work no matter the brand i think. How far you plan on shooting? 300 yds or so? ya should try some at that range too maybe.
My opinion only but you dont have to be able too shoot the elks eye out at 400 yds, just put it into the vitals c0nsistantly & elk are pretty large.& have pretty big kill zones.
