The one from Lancaster Archery is used to rest the bow after shooting. I have seen these used on 3D rounds and are used with long stabilizers (2'-3'). Keeps the cams out of the dirt while wating for your next shot or to examine the targets.
The other I have not seen but would be concerned about noise when shooting.
