No you're wrong. I just looked it up to make sure i knew what i was talking about. Florida Rigging is using a sinker with a corkscrew on it.

When fishing in heavy grass such as you find throughout the southern U.S., one of the big problems encountered when using a plastic worm is keeping the worm in place on the hook. To solve this problem you may use what is called a Florida Rig sinker. It is quite simply a worm bullet- type sinker that has a small spring attached to the back. When rigging the worm on the hook you just screw the spring into the plastic worm's head after putting it on the hook in the normal manner. This will end the constant chore of resetting the worm to the correct position.
