RE: Why do you choose to shoot a dropaway rest?
Okay - so I figured I better shoot my hunting arrows, which I just fletched up right helical (other arrows were straight with 2 deg offset) and the fletching is hitting big time on the wire rest (I put the rubber over it and you can see that it is hitting) and the vanes are stretching and curling on me.
I was shooting cock down - and after playing with nock rotation I got them mostly clearing the rest...I played with tension on the spring to the cable guard...
I am one week from leaving for my elk hunt - any advise would be appreciated -
