Alot of people up here are using the larger hole (alluminum or carbons can be shot). If you wrap a piece of mole skin inside the hole and down the front and back of the rest you'll a perfectly quiet rest. Just a little tip.
Now if you do this mole skin wrap, how is the fletching going to go through the whisker biscuit? Is everybody shooting bare shafts? My rest is perfectly quiet without modification. Some arrows are quieter than others on the draw. And, you'll have to explain this mole skin consept to me because, either something is lost in the translation on this one or your just way out there in left field.
