Necessary action re A3736 - bill which would permit Sunday bow hunting for deer on Wildlife Management Areas and private lands

The actions listed in the directions below are essential if we are to be successful in getting this legislation approved by the 211th legislature and signed by the Governor before the 211 th legislature ceases operations next January.

We need as many contacts as possible to Senator Sweeney, Assembly Speaker Albo Sires, and your local legislators ASAP in suppoprt of A3736. Time is of the essence as the legislature will soon be working on the 2006 budget, followed by the usual summer recess, then the election , followed by the lame-duck session. The sooner A3736 gets voted on by the Assembly and Senate the better. Its later than you think for the 211th legislature.

3. Write, phone, or fax your legislators tell them you want to see A3736 come to a vote, if we don't do it right now, we won't see it in time for next hunting season, so get to work!
