Well, hey, the 1100 is a great gun and I think that we will still be able to cleanly kill birds with ease. I'm a power freak sometimes and I know it's not all based on how much gun you are using. I found myself in some long range situations last year that I passed up on (45-50 yard shots) that would have made the difference in my season... I got skunked last year for the first time! I would like to be confident in being able to successfully shoot a tom at 45 yards, but it's more important to me to be sure and ethical in my decisions and I owe that to the game. But boy... it really gets under my skin to think about that 10" beard on that tom I passed on!! Hopefully he'll be around this year so we can dance once again!
