Being early season you definitely want to key on food more than anything, and it sounds like you have that along with the possibility of a natural funnel area, if you can tell that the deer are feeding on the acorns then by all means set up on it and see what happens. You will learn even more from just being there hunting. Good luck man, kill a big 'un!!
