I will agree that the 50cal. is the most popular, and yes the hype put
forth by the owners & builders of 50cal ML's is just that hype. I have just purchased a 45cal ML. Last weekend shot about 35 times.
Used 2-50gr. 777 pellets and the 195gr powerbelt. Accuracy was
unbelievable flat shooting to 100-125yds. 3" groups and the power-
belt had to be screaming at muzzle. So I wouldn't sell the 45 short
I believe it will do great on whitetail, but will need to up the ante to
225gr. powerbelt. Sounds like agreat deal I don't think you would be
dissappointed with the 45.
