There is a site I go to called (www.canadiangunnutz.com). There are a couple Savage 99 "lovers" on there that can tell you more than all you want to know about a Sav. 99.

I have only 2 of them and I like them a bunch. With my .300 savage I took a moose a white-tail doe and two wolves last fall.
