RE: bad and/or good points of hunting/fishing shows
They remind me of infomercials that only want to sell you the latest and greatest in gear.
Now, if you put out a hunting show that actually teaches hunters and kids something besides what bow to buy, then I'll change my opinion and watch that one show. There's a lot more to hunting than sitting in a tree and shooting a buck as he walks by and those things need to be brought forward and taught to future generations of hunters. Woodsmanship, tracking skills, hunters safety and so on. They have the perfect way to bring it to future hunters, but instead of teaching as they entertain, they prefer to sell. Pretty short sighted if you ask me.
