Well I have read everything that was written on this subject in these forums and have come to one conclusion. I hav just ordered my upper reciever from www.model1sales.com and got the 20'' AR15 Varmint Rifle Kit; .223 Rem; Stainless steel,1-8, fluted, $50.00 option; Black with swivel stud, $10.00 option; Standard bolt carrier; Versa-Pod, $55.00 option. I also ordered a match grade lower reciever. If you are wondering why I got the extras it is because I am the new spotter for our sniper with the Police Department I work for. I am certain that this weapon will be exactly what I need once I put a Bushnell 6-25X50mm glass on top. I have to have this shooting 1/4" groups at 100 yards to be accurate enough to kill a person. That should be enough motivation for anyone looking to buy an AR15 for accuracy. If I trust it to keep my other Officers lives going on then it must be a good rifle for killing the occasional ground hog or whatever other animal is going to be shot with it.
