If your just starting out with recurves i would go with martin, they make good bows for the money. But if your wanting to put a lot of money into a bow i would go with black widow, they make awesome bows but cost anywhere from $700-$900. I shot a $900 blackwidow yesterday and it was the beswt recurve ive shot yet. But everyone ive talked to says martin makes good recurves without the big price... Hope this helps.
