RE: how tradtional are you
Well, I started shooting a recurve when you would only find 3-4 guys at a tournament to be in the recurve class.
I was one of the founders of the Traditional Bowhunters of Texas and argued over equipment and classes for years.
I own and shoot one piece recurves, take down recurves, and longbows, I use back quivers and bow quivers. I use dacron and fast flite bowstrings, yarn and fur silencers. I only shoot with a glove and a leather arm guard, I use carbon, aluminum and wood arrows, 2 and 3 blade broadheads, killed a rabbit with a flint head for grins, wear all camo sometimes, jeans and a camo shirt sometimes and what ever I have on the rest of the time.
It's all good. I would have started with a recurve, but they were hard to come by in '77 when I got started in archery. Switched as soon as i could.
