i bought a weatherby mark v stainless in .300wbymag about 3 years ago and love it. no need to worry about the weather and metal rusting. i got it for a hunting trip i was taking to wyoming. i mounted a bausch & lomb 4x16x50 scope on it. it shoots great out to 400 yards. never been to a range long enough to shot past that so far. ive killed 2 mule deer, one at 300 yards and one at 260 yards, an antelope at about 120 yards and a coyote at 402 yards according to my laser range finder. this gun isnt the lightest thing to carry all day but it shoots like a dream. i even took it to my gunsmith and for $150.00 he installed a muzzle brake. has less recoil now than my winchester md 70 30-06.
