I think what you are trying to say is you are going to buy a Weatherby Vanguard in the 300 Winchester Magnum? If they make the Vanguard in the Weatherby Magnum I don't know about it.

The Japanese company that makes them also made the S&W line for the short time Smith was in the Long gun business. I have one in the .06, a buddy has one in the 7mm mag. Both are great shooters and while not as tight as the Remington 700's I have seen coming out of the box, they come within 1/8" in tightness of pattern at 100 yds.
