Lots of cool things too.
One more I ran across, is marked on a map, but I just had to see what it was. It was called ROCK HOUSE and it really was. Since it was on the early 1900 survey map, I guess it was a line shack or some such shelter. Buried deep in the tope end of a small ravine, nowhere near a road or trail, ans smack dab in the middle of indian teritory form the 1800s. Amazingly it was still mostly standing.
One other thing was on a small plateau on the edge of a deep canyon. Year round water and not 5 minutes driving of I17 there is a spot that looked like a deer blind. Built up all around this plateau was a rock wall. Mostly flat shale typ rocks, with no mortar. Just so many and it was soo large that it may have been an indian dwelling form years ago.
Anyone care to add more things to the list...
Tree huggers should hold on to those trees... Especially during a forest fire.
