The Topic header refers not so much to "special game" we have taken or seen, but to THINGS and PLACES we have run across. Special Scenic views, old abandoned buildings or vehicles, lost / found gravesites, Abandoned mines, homes, Meteorites, plane crash wreckage, Indian ruins etc ... I have seen lots of unusual things and some quite memorable. I will start the thread off with a couple things I have seen.

I am planning a trip back to a favorite hunt area in about amonth to scout for this season. I am adding a hike to a place where I saw plane wreckage about 7 years ago. Back then, It was a bit out of the way, as it was on the far edge of my ZONE. When I saw it across the canyon it was too far for me to get to and I was alone and in very rugged country. I recently found out that what I saw was most likely the wreckage of a miltary T38 that went down in the 1967. My source says most of the wreckage is still there.


I also ran across a couple of small graveyards in 2 different areas of the state.(AZ) I Did some research on the names at one site using public geneology records on the net and determined the one site was a family involved in mining in the area. Died in the 20's and have been buried on a small hill in-between 2 washes ever since. Lots of expense went into the sites, wroght iron fences and beautiful headstones. Quite overgrown now, but You just have to wonder!?!?!?!

I've Also seen several wrecked vehicles and they were so far from any road that they just almost had to be dropped in from the sky!
