Southern Arizona around Globe or Douglas. I'd imagine NM would be the same. The live in really rough country and have a comfort zone of about 400 yards, so you'll need a flat shooter. More important a GOOD spotting scope, I'd guess 20x ought to work, but you'll need a big objective so you can peer into all the shadowy nooks and crannies on the opposite slope. If you are settin' up more'n 4 times a day you ain't lookin' good enough.
Take someone who's seen 'em before you won't believe how narrow their racks are.
